About the Artist 
  
 
A lifetime surfer brought up in a family of boat builders 
and watermen, Scop loves to surf and paint waves. 
His paintings are wave portraits and surfing moments 
that embrace the joy, the fear, the awesome wonder 
that bonds all surfers.There is a special reverence 
for the wave and the ocean in his work. As a Malibu 
resident he's always in the surf zone.
His philosophy is the underlying theme in all his work - 
   "Our Truest Lives Are When We Are In Our Dreams Awake"
